I’ve played over 30 years of organized and recreational sports, coached youth athletics, and spent 13 years as a professional wrestler. Yes, the in-ring, take-the-bumps, cut-the-promos kind. That experience didn’t just toughen me up — it launched my writing career and gave me something many sports writers can’t fake: firsthand perspective.
Over the past two decades, I’ve written thousands of sports articles covering everything from the NFL and College Football to MMA, Boxing, Pro wrestling, NASCAR, and Cycling. As the National Fight Sports Examiner (2009-2014), I covered live events with media credentials, broke stories, and conducted dozens of interviews. Deadlines don’t scare me.
